It's in our humanness that we connect.

When storms hit, nature flexes with it's power, bending then adjusting. As seasons pass by along with the winds, hail, freezing, smoldering heat, nature adapts without trying to temper it's natural beauty or the experience.
We though, are taught to protect, control and not submit. Some may hunker down and observe, hidden. Perhaps when the storms of our life hit, we too can lean in to and become flexible to these life events. Bending, flexing, adapting. It seems at these times an unidentified learning, a lesson not yet blossomed amongst the storm, awaits.
In the midst of it we can unconsciously become rigid and therefore brittle, easily broken. Perhaps we shall lean and bend in to it, experiencing the experience. After the storm, weather it be a loss, a change, a death or some kind of dissappointment we gather together, we share in our humanness, in our shared experiences. It's in our humanness that we truly connect! The untold lessons will then blossom. Today I will lean in to my life, with my eyes and heart wide open.
